Rehab at Scottsdale Village Square is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precise and timely administration of medications to our residents.

About the Role:

As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for preparing, administering, and monitoring medications to our residents under the supervision of our licensed nursing staff. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of medication administration, conducting routine vital sign checks, and reporting any changes or concerns to our nursing team. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer medications to residents as prescribed by their healthcare providers
• Monitor and report any adverse reactions or concerns to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration
• Conduct routine vital sign checks and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team
• Assist with dispensing medications and maintaining inventory
• Perform routine medical equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure that medications are administered correctly and in a timely manner
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and standards
