Step into a hands-on assembler role where your craftsmanship turns drawings into fully functioning chemical feed skid systems. Your day blends electrical wiring with pipe fitting, structural support work, machining, and precise assembly—always verifying accuracy against blueprints.

A day in the life

You arrive, review the latest drawings and bills of material, pull your parts, check your tools, and flag any discrepancies to the foreman right away. From there, you route PVC and metal conduit, wire control panels per Electrical Controls Designers’ drawings, build supports, align piping, and bring it all together. Before lunch, you’re logging quality checks and test results; by day’s end, you’re completing functional tests and tidying your work area—ready for tomorrow’s build or a field startup assist.

What you will do

• Fabricate chemical feed equipment, including pipe fitting, structural supports, machining, and assembly to meet drawing/blueprint specifications.
• Bring inaccuracies or problems with drawings to the attention of the foreman promptly.
• Assemble and wire electrical components integrated into skid systems according to Electrical Controls Designers’ drawings and provided control panels.
• Install and route PVC and metal conduit.
• Perform electrical wiring installation as required.
• Conduct functional testing of completed systems.
• Maintain accurate quality control records and test forms.
• Assist with field startup and service when needed.
• Maintain personal tool inventory and tool condition.
• Confirm pulled parts with Bills of Material and report failed parts.

What you bringRequired

• At least one year of manufacturing work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematic drawings.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on electrical experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with accurate use of measurement tools.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and confidence using hand tools.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Solid mathematical skills.
• Skill in analyzing mechanical and electro/mechanical system failures using schematic drawings.
• Ability to pass in-house forklift certification.
• Comfort with constant physical movement (standing, bending, kneeling, stretching) to perform all job functions.
• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization ability in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Associate degree in an electrical-related field.
