Summary

Join a busy food service team responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary. This role is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in supporting a safe, efficient kitchen operation.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment and by hand.
• Sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety standards.
• Collect and transport used dishes from dining and kitchen areas.
• Return clean dishes and supplies to food preparation and serving areas.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and perform basic cleaning and maintenance.
• Remove trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Complete opening and closing duties for the dish room.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, janitorial, kitchen, or food service experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to lift and carry dishes, cookware, and supplies.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Weekend availability required.
