Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and clinical evaluations to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Formulate evidence-based treatment strategies that meet measurable goals, ensuring clients receive personalized care that leads to improved outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.
• Regularly monitor clients' progress and collaborate proactively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to ensure holistic care.
• Foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their personal mental health goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing challenges related to mental health issues and substance use disorders. Your ability to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client will be crucial in facilitating their journey toward improved mental health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position.
• An active and valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in California is essential.
• At least 2 years of direct counseling experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic record-keeping systems, ensuring efficient delivery of remote therapy services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural sensitivities in counseling.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Previous experience utilizing telehealth technology to deliver services effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
