Independent Living & Recovery Peer Specialist

Lake County Health Department is seeking a Peer Support Specialist in Waukegan, Illinois. This role focuses on engaging and motivating clients to seek vital services and improve their self-sufficiency and stability. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with serious mental illness in developing skills for independent living and advocacy. Responsibilities include planning activities, leading recovery groups, and providing transportation assistance.
