A Personal Trainer works primarily in a gym environment, providing tailored fitness guidance and support to a diverse client base including youth, athletes, and the general population. This part-time role focuses on creating effective workout plans and fostering motivation to help clients achieve their fitness goals safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Develop personalized workout plans for clients
- Provide clear exercise instruction and demonstrations
- Coach and motivate clients to maintain engagement and progress
- Offer basic nutrition advice to complement fitness programs
- Monitor safety and proper technique during workouts
- Maintain and inspect gym equipment for safety and usability
- Evaluate client fitness levels and track progress
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in personal training
- Certified Personal Trainer credential
- Expertise in strength training techniques
- Skilled in motivational coaching methods
- Effective time management abilities
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of nutrition principles
- First Aid certification
