Vsphere Systems EngineerGenesis10 is currently seeking a Vsphere Systems Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, implementing and troubleshooting VM migrations within a large-scale production VMware based cloud service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with VMware vSphere in a complex enterprise environment and will be required to work on weekends and evenings as needed.Responsibilities:Schedule, coordinate, implement, and troubleshoot VM migrationsPlan and implement large technical projects related to the VMware environmentFollow, define, document, and implement technical proceduresCommunicate and work with global teams within a large organizationRequirements:Minimum 5 years' experience supporting and troubleshooting issues for VMware vSphere 7.x and 8.xStrong networking, infrastructure knowledge, and troubleshooting abilityExperience in executing technical strategy and working in a high-pressure environmentStrong understanding and experience with security and authentication of VMware and hardware interfacesStrong understanding and ability to work in an ITIL FrameworkExperience supporting HCXExcellent oral and written communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and excellent organization skillsAbility to work required weekend and evening hoursPay range: $67.36 - $75.36 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
