Lead Fire Alarm Troubleshooting Technician

Tempe, AZ | $40/hr+ | Full-Time Are you the technician everyone calls when the fire alarm issue is complicated? We are hiring a Lead Fire Alarm Troubleshooting Technician to take ownership of high-level fire alarm repairs, guide other technicians in the field, and help strengthen our repairs operation. This is not an install-only role. This is for someone who knows how to diagnose problems, fix them, communicate clearly, and help other techs get better. What You’ll Be Doing Troubleshoot and repair complex fire alarm system issues Serve as the go-to technical lead on repair work Diagnose panel issues, ground faults, NAC issues, SLC loop problems, device failures, and related system deficiencies Direct work assignments for other technicians in the field Mentor less-experienced technicians and help develop their technical skills Work with customers, sales, and management to identify repair needs and support repair proposals Document findings, repairs completed, deficiencies, and recommended next steps Support fire alarm, sprinkler, and special hazards inspections as needed What You Need NICET Level II or higher in Fire Alarm Systems Strong fire alarm troubleshooting, service, and repair experience Strong working knowledge of Notifier systems Working knowledge of Fike gas detection and special hazards systems Strong multimeter and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently on complex repair issues Ability to lead, mentor, and communicate professionally with customers and technicians Nice to Have… NAC troubleshooting experience Fire sprinkler exposure or certifications Additional manufacturer certifications What You Get $40/hr or more starting pay, based on certifications and experience Full benefits package Factory training and manufacturer certification opportunities Merit-based pay growth tied to NICET and factory credentials A clear development plan for continued technical and compensation growth A role where your troubleshooting ability and leadership actually matter This is a strong fit for a senior fire alarm technician who wants to be trusted as the technical lead — not micromanaged, not stuck doing basic installs, and not capped by tenure alone! #J-18808-Ljbffr 360X Staffing
