The role is mission‑critical, managing inventory, advising on part selection, and optimizing sourcing and distribution to keep operations running at peak performance. Your Mission: Elevate the customer experience by delivering exceptional support and seamless service for forklift and material‑handling parts. This role is pivotal in keeping operations efficient and customers satisfied, from handling parts inquiries to ensuring accurate inventory management and smooth coordination across teams. The goal is to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, lifting and moving items weighing over 50 pounds. Vision required: close, distant, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer support, ensuring clients receive the right parts at the right time. Accurately process parts inquiries, orders, and returns with efficient service. Assist customers in identifying optimal parts solutions. Build strong customer relationships. Coordinate and fulfill daily parts orders and drop shipments, ensuring seamless logistics. Maintain real‑time inventory accuracy, tracking stock levels. Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliations, resolving discrepancies proactively. Optimize parts storage and retrieval processes. Process purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation. Support vendor and supplier coordination for parts procurement and pricing. Assist in the management of fleet parts and service‑related inventory needs. Utilize ERP and inventory management systems to update records. Manage parts receiving, stocking, and distribution. Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment to safely load, unload, and transport parts. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness. Collaborate with service, sales, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School Diploma or GED required. 3‑5 years in parts support or service within the material‑handling or forklift industry (heavy equipment, agriculture, automotive parts a plus). Deep understanding of forklift systems (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical) with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service, build relationships, and communicate effectively. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills for problem‑solving. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain efficiency under pressure. Works well with technicians, service specialists, sales teams, and vendors. Proficient in ERP software, IMS systems, diagnostic tools, Microsoft 365, and advanced Excel skills. Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, driven by passion for excellence. Strong attention to detail.
