Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and in-depth reviews of medical histories

• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative assistance, including prepping operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, focusing on medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical practice is highly favored

Certification Requirements

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligible) as a Physician Assistant
