Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Float to other units including NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg as needed, with appropriate assignment given in each area
• Comply with facility float expectations and unit-specific protocols
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with facility standards and state regulations

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio State RN license or Compact RN license – must be in hand prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience (first-time travelers considered with approximately 3 years of PICU experience)
• Recent Level 1 facility experience required
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple units as directed
• 2 supervisory references required at time of submittal; at least one reference must hold a manager or supervisor title
• Must not have worked permanently at this facility within the past 2 years; candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Closer to 3 years of PICU experience, particularly for first-time travel nurses
• Experience in a Level 1 pediatric or children's hospital environment
