Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in a healthcare facility located in a designated region. This position involves providing patient care on a medical surgical unit with a focus on post-operative and spine care patients. The role requires working night shifts, with scheduled start and end dates from October 12, 2026, to January 11, 2027, and a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current medical surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting, strong heparin management experience, and EPIC electronic medical record experience. Active Iowa (IA) nursing license or multistate license required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post-operative and spine care, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and professional references from a supervisor or nurse manager within 24 months.
• Float: Float rotation may be required across multiple campuses.
• Additional Information:
  • Must have a minimum of 3 months of current travel nursing experience within the previous 12 months.
  • Holiday coverage may be required unless the unit is closed, with 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays worked.
  • Call and on-call responsibilities are not included for this position.
  • SCRUBS: Navy Blue, solids.
  • N:P Ratio: Nights - 1:6.
  • Certification: BLS (AHA) required.
