Assembler - Manufacturing

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this position, you will receive a competitive base wage along with individual production incentive pay. The Assembler is responsible for performing bench assembly and machine operations to mass-produce products and components.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Read and follows bill of material and routing
• Place parts in specified relationship to each other
• Restock parts and adds coolant as needed
• Tend to machines, such as milling, grinding, and drilling to perform required operations to product
• Pack finished product in proper container
• Read and follows work instructions and safety analyses sheet
• Scan onto jobs via inventory collection device
• Records information on process and sustainment sheets
• Works at different workstations as production needs require
• Support and sustain ISO procedures, Lean Manufacturing and 5-S efforts
• Work on a line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line
• Perform organizing and daily cleaning duties to ensure safe work area
• Other duties may be assigned in support of production needs

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work any shift
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

• Ability to multi-task and work safely and effectively in manufacturing environment.

Today, more than 600 employees work in 734K square feet of office and manufacturing space. The campus is also home to a factory tool service center and an innovative "schoolhouse" training center that educates and trains hundreds of tradespersons annually. In addition to the iconic wrench, the campus manufactures RIDGID battery hydraulic tools, pipe and electrical tools, and drain cleaning components, as well as Greenlee step bits and knock-out tools. Emerson's Professional Tools business provides the industry's broadest portfolio of sophisticated, reliable tools and technologies for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades.
