Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including fetal heart rate monitoring and assessments.
• Assist physicians and providers during deliveries and procedures.
• Educate patients and families on prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Maintain accurate charting and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Promote a safe, patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• BLS certification required.
• One year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset.

Preferred Skills:

• NRP or Fetal Monitoring certification preferred but not required.
