If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Jenison that are seeking skilled Shop Foremans. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Supervise, train, and mentor a team of manufacturing technicians. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Coordinate maintenance and repair of shop equipment and machinery. Manage inventory of materials and supplies, including ordering and stocking. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years experience in a manufacturing shop environment 2+ years experience in a leadership or supervisory role Proven ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team leadership and coordination Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude Bonus Qualifications Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior technicians. Certification in a relevant trade (e.g., welding, hydraulics, electrical).
