Senior .NET Developer

Job Title

Project: Small to medium size projects through multiple agencies. This is part of Center of Shared Solutions. They have ongoing releases for 2 projects: Infrastructure council (roads, conditions, sewer, utilities, etc.) and traffic asset management. Will get more requests for other projects as well, but those are the 2 main ones.

Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack.NET development (focused a little more on backend)
• Mostly new feature development, but will have some maintenance
• Design patterns are pretty well established, so won’t need to do much of that
• Monolithic architecture
• Interact with GIS product that exposes API’s (has another team that does most of the work)
• On Prem Cloud – Looking at maybe going to Azure

Tech Stack: .NET C#, SQL Server, MVC, GIS, VueJS (some legacy apps in AngularJS)

Must have:

• .NET C#
• MVC architecture
• JavaScript Frameworks (don’t need to be experts)
• REST API’s
• Looking for mid-senior level

Nice to have:

• GIS (ESRI which is owned by ArcGIS)

Team: 5-7 Devs (4 currently), 1 designer, 1 PM, 1 QA

Interview process:

• 45 minute panel interview

Skills Matrix

Experience with.Net, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Entity Framework. - Required - 5 Years

Experience building component-based JavaScript Applications utilizing VueJS or similar. - Required - 3 Years

Experience building semantic, accessible HTML Markup - Required - 5 Years

Relational database development experience (Queries, Stored Procedures on Microsoft SQL Server.) - Required - 3 Years

Experience with GIT and branching and merging strategies - Required - 2 Years

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable experience gathering business requirements. - Required - 3 Years

Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services along with JSON and XML. - Nice To Have

Knowledge of ESRI JavaScript API for creating GIS mapping applications. - Nice to Have
