Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a level 3 or 4 NICU setting, caring for critically ill neonates.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for neonates in a high-acuity environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions; report any changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in therapeutic procedures and interventions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a level 3 or 4 NICU.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Ability to float within pediatrics, PICU, and nursery as needed.

Patient Care Requirements:

Experience with premature infants (as low as 22 weeks) and various surgical infants. Familiarity with special procedures including therapeutic hypothermia, nitric oxide therapy, and more.
