Physical Therapist Assistant

North Strabane Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a PRN PTA to join their in‑house therapy program . Work with a fabulous, experienced team in a large, fully equipped rehab gym to make a difference for your patients! Our mission is to offer quality care to our residents, and to provide for them a loving and compassionate environment, attending carefully to their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. PTA Duties Include: Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist. Implements and modifies the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision. Measures & records residents motor function, strength and muscle performance. Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary.
