Project Manager

Hengst of North America is looking for a hands‑on Project Manage r to lead and coordinate plant improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, efficiency, and operational performance at our Camden, S C manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with a background in manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, or plant operations who enjoys working cross-functionally to solve problems, improve processes, and bring projects from concept to completion. What You'll Do Lead and coordinate plant improvement projects from planning through completion Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Plant Leadership to define project scope, priorities, and timelines. Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and vendors to keep projects on schedule. Support equipment installations, upgrades, facility improvements, and process optimization initiatives. Track project progress, budgets, and milestones while communicating status and risks to leadership. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall plant performance. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in alignment with quality and operational goals. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, plant operations, engineering support, or a related industrial environment. Experience coordinating plant improvement, maintenance, capital, or operational projects. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, maintenance practices, and plant operations. PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus. Why Hengst?
