Penny's Bagels is looking for a General Manager who loves hospitality as much as they love building great teams.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to simply manage shifts. We're looking for a leader who wants ownership of a business—someone who enjoys creating systems, coaching people, solving problems, and helping shape what Penny's becomes as we grow.
If you're energized by mornings, fast-paced service, neighborhood regulars, and building something from the ground up, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do- Lead the daily operation of Penny's with a hands-on approach.
- Build, coach, and develop an outstanding team.
- Create systems that keep the restaurant organized, efficient, and profitable.
- Hire, train, and onboard new employees.
- Maintain exceptional food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.
- Manage scheduling, labor, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
- Analyze sales and financial performance while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Solve problems before they become emergencies.
- Foster a positive, accountable culture where people enjoy coming to work.
- Has previous restaurant management or GM experience.
- Leads with calm confidence.
- Loves coaching people and helping them grow.
- Is organized and naturally proactive.
- Can balance hospitality with financial responsibility.
- Thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being on the floor.
- Wants to grow alongside a company that's continuing to expand.
