Retail Supervisor

Summary Full‑Time Retail Supervisor – responsible for managing and motivating associates, increasing sales, and merchandising within assigned territories. The role focuses on maintaining client and customer standards and collaborating with Business Development Managers, Brands, Retail Managers, and other retail personnel to achieve business objectives. Ensure product(s) are fully stocked, properly signed, faced, and set to schematics. Build and maintain client and trade relationships, including work appointments. Monitor and regulate expenses within position and team budget standards. Provide accurate communication, administrative support, and coaching to direct reports. Schedule merchandisers, review call coverage reports, and maintain budget control. Complete accurate and timely paperwork, reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, and expense reports. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience (required). 4+ years of applicable retail experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and able to handle a fast‑paced work environment. Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel proficiency. Ability to work independently and to compile information and prepare reports. Travel up to 30 % of the time; reliable driving record. Environmental & Physical Requirements The incumbent must be able to perform essential job functions in a variety of settings, including office, field, retail store, or warehouse environments. Requirements include spending >66 % of the workday engaging in physical activity, lifting and/or pushing up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, working in refrigerated and freezer sections, and traveling and driving as necessary. Proper safety practices must be followed when handling products or food.
