Blank Children's is a 108-bed environment that embraces and encourages families to be a part of their child's healing and recovery. Everything from equipment to decor is designed specifically for children. General 28,000+ patient visits/year Certified Level II Pediatric Trauma Center Fully dedicated Peds ED with Pediatric Transport Serves as the primary PED teaching site for pediatric and family practice residents as well as medical students 24/7 PEM coverage with 29 shift hours of double and triple coverage Full integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC Responsibilities Staff the Blank Pediatric Emergency Department on a PRN basis (8-12 hour shifts) Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (H1‑B cap exempt) We offer: Attractive incentive package Signing Bonus A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
