Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $2,000 Specialty: ICU / Intermediate Care Setting: On-site, acute care hospital Location: Glen Burnie, Maryland Start Date: September 28, 2026 Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week Hours Per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating: Required within the specialty and to lower-acuity areas as needed Orientation: 24 hours Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU RN or IMC experience Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at time of submission Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA Current NIHSS certification Current CPI certification Experience charting in Epic required Travel nursing experience preferred Community hospital experience required Strong experience managing higher-acuity patients, including ventilated patients and telemetry monitoring Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical and surgical needs Monitor and assess patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, sepsis, stroke, and multi-system organ failure Support patients requiring cardiac monitoring, drip management, and advanced respiratory care Assist with ICU and stepdown-level interventions, including chest tubes, bronchoscopy support, cardioversion, and rapid response care Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality, patient-centered care Float within scope to ICU or lower-acuity overflow areas as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled Apply now for this ICU Registered Nurse travel assignment in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and join a dedicated acute care healthcare team today.
