With over 120 offices in 40 countries worldwide, our unique shareholder management model enables you to benefit from Global implementation experience and expertise across all industry sectors, coupled with vital in-country knowledge and service at the local level.Duties and responsibilitiesSupervise a team of 4–10 dispatchers covering driver assignments, load coverage, and real-time freight trackingMonitor team workload and load board coverage, redistributing assignments when queues back up or priorities shiftCoach dispatchers on lane rates, carrier selection decisions, and communication practices with drivers and carriersHandle escalated situations that exceed individual dispatcher authority: serious delays, equipment failures, carrier refusalsReview end-of-shift coverage reports and identify patterns in missed pickups, late deliveries, or uncovered loadsCoordinate with customer service and planning teams when dispatch capacity or carrier availability affects customer commitmentsConduct dispatcher training and onboarding, building lane knowledge and system proficiency for new team membersManage dispatcher scheduling across shifts, covering vacations, call-outs, and peak-period volume increasesMaintain team carrier contact lists, preferred carrier relationships, and carrier performance documentationPrepare shift handoff briefings that give incoming supervisors a clear picture of in-transit freight and open issuesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.3–5 years of dispatch, transportation, or logistics experience.Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.Experience in final-mile delivery, trucking, or warehouse operations is a plus.Strong knowledge of routing, scheduling, and transportation operations.Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), dispatch software, and Microsoft Office.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Proven ability to lead teams, coach employees, and drive operational performance.Preferred SkillsStrong leadership and team-building abilities.Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.Analytical mindset with experience using operational metrics to improve performance.Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.Strong attention to detail and time management skills.Experience managing KPIs, labor planning, and operational budgets is preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to work in an office and warehouse environment.Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as operational needs dictate.Compensation and BenefitsBase salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).CompensationThe base salary compensation range being offer for this role is $63,700 - $90,950 USD per year.
