Finance Technology Manager

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Finance Technology Manager to lead the evaluation, implementation, and long‑term management of the organization’s ERP and financial systems. This role will guide the selection of a new ERP platform, oversee the full implementation lifecycle, and manage ongoing optimization, administration, and governance of the financial systems environment. Location: New York, NY - 4 days per week onsite and Friday is remote Role Type: Permanent / Full-Time with exceptional benefits and PTO Key Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, and selection of a new ERP platform. Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, Operations, vendors, and consultants. Redesign financial and operational workflows to support scalability and best practices. Oversee ERP administration, reporting, security, and continuous improvement. Support global accounting needs including budgeting, grants, multi‑entity consolidation, and nonprofit reporting. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision‑making. Establish governance standards, documentation, and controls for financial systems. Build and lead the Financial Systems team as the organization grows. Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and support for system issues. Partner with leadership on long‑term financial systems strategy. Required Qualifications 6+ years in financial systems, ERP administration, or finance technology roles. Experience leading or contributing to ERP selection and implementation. Strong knowledge of ERP platforms (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics, Oracle, etc.). Nonprofit accounting and multi‑entity experience is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work strategically and hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment.
