Commercial Litigation Mid-Level Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level Litigation Associate to join its Business Litigation Practice Group in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation within New York state and federal courts. This position requires admission to the New York Bar, with New Jersey Bar admission and experience preferred. Duties Manage all phases of litigation, including depositions and court appearances. Develop and implement discovery strategies. Engage in motion practice and legal research. Collaborate with attorneys across various offices and practice areas. Represent clients from diverse industries, including nonprofits and educational institutions. Requirements 5-7 years of complex commercial litigation experience. Admission to the New York Bar; New Jersey Bar preferred. Judicial clerkship experience desired. Strong academic credentials. Excellent analytical, research, writing, and communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the New York Bar. Skills Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
