$2774.40/week - Job Summary: The Radiology CT Technician assists radiologists with comprehensive computed tomography procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging while minimizing radiation exposure. The role involves patient care, contrast administration, and maintaining safety protocols to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities: Perform CT scans adhering to established protocols, differentiating normal and abnormal anatomy for tailored exams. Administer IV and oral contrast, following departmental guidelines and monitoring the patient throughout procedures. Implement radiation safety measures using shielding and collimation techniques to protect patients and staff. Assist with nursing duties, including sterile procedures, vital signs, clinical history collection, and venous puncture. Recognize urgent medical conditions or allergic reactions, notifying the radiologist for immediate intervention. Document all patient data and procedural details accurately in compliance with departmental policies. Qualifications: Hold active ARRT certification and AHA BLS certification. Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience performing CT scans, with proficiency in Toshiba CT scanners preferred. Be capable of performing X-ray procedures in addition to CT imaging. Demonstrate knowledge of contrast administration, patient safety, and sterile techniques. Valid fingerprint clearance required for compliance.
