Job Description Facilities Maintenance Technician Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
  • Up to $30.00 per hour for high‑skill HVAC technicians
• Hours: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• On‑Call: Rotating one week per month (Friday–Friday)
• On‑Call Pay: Time and a half during on‑call weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hands‑on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and daily operation of multiple office buildings, including Corporate Woods and the Meridian Center . This role covers both interior and exterior maintenance, light electrical and HVAC work, landscaping, and inventory management to maintain safe, clean, and fully functional facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior areas including landscaping, grounds care, and general property upkeep
• Perform interior cleaning, minor repairs, and routine building maintenance
• Inspect, repair, and replace lighting systems, switches, outlets, and fixtures
• Replace damaged or missing ceiling tiles and grid systems
• Maintain drain pumps and drinking fountains and investigate water leaks
• Respond to alarms, system failures, and building access needs during on‑call rotations
• Order, pick up, deliver, and document materials to ensure accurate inventory tracking

Required Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude and general maintenance ability
• Ability to read and follow maintenance and operational instructions
• Basic or light HVAC experience
• Dependable, safety‑focused, and self‑motivated work style

Preferred Experience

• Facilities or building maintenance
• HVAC, plumbing, or electrical repair
• Janitorial or commercial cleaning
• Landscaping and exterior property maintenance

Work Environment

This role supports professionally managed office buildings and includes both indoor and outdoor work throughout the year. The position offers consistent daytime hours with added responsibility and compensation during on‑call weeks.
