Factory Supervisors – Yakult USA (New Factory in Georgia)

Yakult USA , the world’s leading probiotic drink manufacturer, is seeking experienced Factory Supervisors to join their new factory in White, Georgia (30184) . We are hiring for three key areas:

• Production
• Bottle Making
• Filling & Packaging

Position Summary

The Factory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the assigned department, leading a team of 30+ employees, and ensuring compliance with production, safety, and quality standards.

1. Factory Production Supervisor

• Expertise in dairy production processes and equipment
• Knowledge of pasteurization processes ( Pasteurizer license preferred )

2. Factory Bottle Making Supervisor

• Expertise in molding machinery for food-grade containers

3. Factory Filling & Packaging Supervisor

• Expertise in filling and packaging machineries used in food production

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $75,000/year (Exempt)
• Shift hours: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, includes 1-hour unpaid lunch), Monday – Saturday (flexibility required)
• Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k) with company match, Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 10+ years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams of 30+ employees
• Experience in training, handling people, and resolving conflicts.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Have the ability to work independently with little supervision and be part of a team as well.
• Be available to work any hours assigned, 5 days or more per week, Monday- Saturday, including early mornings and late nights.
• Proficient and working knowledge of MS Office and other appropriate software
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

The Factory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the assigned department, leading a team of 30+ employees, and ensuring compliance with production, safety, and quality standards.

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
• Supervise and support a team of 30+ employees
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, FDA, and OSHA regulations
• Develop and manage production schedules based on logistics and shipping needs
• Train, coach, and evaluate employees; address performance and conduct issues
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant production environment
• Monitor inventory levels (raw materials, sub-materials, and finished goods)
• Coordinate with Production and Factory Managers and act as a liaison with staff
• Conduct inspections and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Investigate and report workplace incidents and implement corrective actions
• Prepare for audits and inspections by maintaining high sanitation standards
• Validate timekeeping, attendance, and payroll-related documentation
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and improvements
• Perform food safety responsibilities including verification of CCPs, sanitation, and records; conducting inspections; supporting preventive maintenance; ensuring compliance with GMP and food safety policies; monitoring and reporting risks; coordinating with suppliers; conducting training and mock recalls; participating in food safety programs; and following up on corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
