Although not required, it is beneficial for the successful candidate to have the following license: BPATThis position has a salary range of $27+ per hour depending on experience and held licenses.Job ResponsibilitiesPerformance of daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual inspections and preventative maintenance services on various fire sprinkler systems.Service and test all systems.Complete electronic and/or handwritten inspection reports.Document time worked as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner.Assist in the scheduling and completion of assigned duties.Ability to work independently and use provided personal protective equipment.Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Two years of experience as a licensed inspector in the fire protection industry.Understand NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and building and fire codes.Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.Valid driver's license; in accordance with company policy required.Able to pass a post-offer drug test and background check.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodationRegular bending, reaching, climbing, and walkingAmerican Fire Protection Group is an equal opportunity employer.
