Clinical Recruiter Nashville, TN Location: Nashville, Tennessee Employment Type: Full-Time, Salary Reports To: Chief of Staff Overview Peregrine Health is seeking a Clinical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for the behavioral health clinicians who deliver our care. Hiring will primarily focus on psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors, and psychiatrists. The Clinical Recruiter owns searches from initial outreach through accepted offer, including sourcing, candidate assessment, interview coordination, closing, and pipeline management. This person will independently manage multiple searches and build the recruiting pipelines required to meet provider hiring plans across Peregrine's markets. Provider capacity directly determines Peregrine's ability to serve patients, meet partner commitments, launch new markets, and grow revenue. The Clinical Recruiter is responsible for converting provider hiring plans into accepted offers and giving leadership clear visibility into the pipeline. Strong performance means Peregrine has the clinicians it needs, in the markets where they are needed, when that capacity is required, and that risks related to candidate supply, compensation, or hiring pace are identified early enough to act. Key Responsibilities Sourcing Build and execute sourcing campaigns for passive and difficult-to-find clinicians. Develop candidate pipelines by specialty, license, state, and market. Maintain an informed view of clinician availability, compensation expectations, licensure constraints, and competitor activity in assigned markets. Identify new sourcing channels and approaches when existing pipelines are insufficient. Full-Cycle Recruiting Manage each search from intake through accepted offer, closing out with reference checks and handoff to onboarding and credentialing. Translate provider hiring plans into recruiting activity by license, specialty, state, and market. Manage multiple active searches while maintaining pace and candidate experience. Candidate Assessment Evaluate clinical candidates against licensure requirements, post-licensure experience, specialty, community health experience, multi-state eligibility, and the demands of Peregrine's care model. Assess motivation and alignment with Peregrine's mission, pace, and operating model. Provide hiring leaders with clear assessments of candidate fit. Hiring Manager Partnership Partner with hiring leaders to define requirements and maintain momentum throughout each search. Provide market feedback on candidate availability, compensation, and hiring difficulty. Flag unclear requirements, compensation misalignment, interview delays, or other issues that put hiring plans at risk. Drive timely decisions and next steps throughout the recruiting process. Recruiting Performance Track pipeline volume, conversion, time in process, offer acceptance, and hires against plan. Identify where searches are falling behind and adjust sourcing activity accordingly. Provide leadership with a clear view of recruiting progress and risks to future provider capacity. Use recruiting data to identify bottlenecks and improve the effectiveness of the hiring process. Qualifications Required Three or more years of full-cycle healthcare recruiting experience, independently managing searches from intake through accepted offer. Experience recruiting clinicians or other difficult-to-fill healthcare roles. Demonstrated ability to proactively source and engage passive candidates. Experience managing multiple concurrent searches against defined hiring targets. Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, communication, and closing skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain pace across multiple active searches. Ability to use recruiting data to evaluate pipeline health and identify where additional sourcing or process changes are needed. Ability to work independently and drive searches forward with limited oversight. Preferred Experience recruiting psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors, psychiatrists, or other behavioral health clinicians. Experience recruiting across multiple states and navigating state-specific licensure requirements. Experience recruiting in community health, FQHC, RHC, telehealth, or other distributed healthcare environments. Experience with Greenhouse or a similar applicant tracking system. What Success Looks Like Priority searches maintain healthy candidate pipelines and move with urgency. Provider hiring plans convert into accepted offers at the pace required by the business. Hiring leaders have clear visibility into recruiting progress, expected hires, and risks. Candidate supply, compensation, and process issues are identified early enough to act.
