You will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of this driving post, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through professional communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:00 AM - 07:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and document entries, exits, and unusual activities in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and assisting with emergency response actions as directed. Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
