CT Technologist

Job Summary: The Radiology/Cardiology CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires technical proficiency in operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare providers. The CT Tech must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment, provide high-quality imaging, and respond to on-call duties as required. Responsibilities: Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images. Prepare and position patients for CT procedures ensuring patient comfort and safety. Follow protocols and safety standards to minimize radiation exposure. Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to obtain necessary imaging. Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures. Perform routine maintenance and quality control of CT equipment. Respond to on-call requests and provide imaging services as needed. Required Skills & Certifications: Current Washington State licensure as a CT Technologist. Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and related technology. Knowledge of radiation safety practices and patient care standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills & Certifications: Experience in both radiology and cardiology imaging procedures. Additional certifications related to CT technology or cardiovascular imaging. Experience with patient care in a hospital or clinical setting. Special Considerations: On-call availability is required. Weekend work is required, with shifts on either Saturday or Sunday. Position does not float between units. 48-hour workweek approval is not granted. Expected patient ratio is 1:1 during procedures. Scheduling: Work schedule includes weekend shifts with some on-call duties. No block scheduling is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
