Civil Litigation Paralegal

A busy and well‑respected real estate, land use, and appeals law firm in Sacramento is seeking a Full‑Time Civil Litigation Paralegal with litigation and appeals experience for a fast‑paced, litigation‑heavy environment. This role is ideal for a self‑starter who is comfortable managing multiple deadlines, supporting active litigation, and jumping in where needed. Position Details Job Type: Full-Time Hours: Mon‑Fri (830/9A - 5/5:30P) Flexibility Considered Location: Onsite in Sacramento, CA (hybrid flexibility may be considered if needed) Start Date: ASAP Compensation: $30–$35 per hour Employment Type: W2 Key Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day litigation tasks Assist with case and file management for active litigation matters Prepare and format legal documents, including pleadings and filings Handle calendaring, deadline tracking, and court dates Perform e‑filing and court submissions in California state and federal courts Provide discovery support and assist with trial preparation Communicate with clients as needed Provide general administrative support related to litigation and appeals Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal or similar role Experience in a litigation‑heavy law firm environment Experience supporting trial preparation Appellate filing experience in Appellate court required (candidates should be able to quantify the number of trials and appeals supported) Familiarity with California state and federal court filing procedures and deadlines Experience in land use and real estate law Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision Willingness to work extended hours during active litigation phases when needed Skills & Attributes Self‑starter who can work independently Strong organizational and time‑management skills Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities Detail‑oriented and deadline‑driven Software Experience LawMatics Clio Interview Process Qualified candidates will be invited to a 30‑minute Zoom interview with the firm. #J-18808-Ljbffr
