Facility CoxHealth Clinic Branson, 5136 State Hwy 265, Branson, Missouri, 65616 Department Clinic Registration Work Hours 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Day Shift Job Description The Financial Advisor is responsible for answering questions about billing information and establishing estimates for patients who have a scheduled medical service or procedure. They work with patients to establish payment schedules, discuss financial responsibility, and collect prepayments in accordance with CMG policy. The Financial Advisor monitors overdue accounts, researches accounts, recommends payment plans, and works with insurance companies to obtain predetermination or authorization for certain procedures. They collaborate with various departments across the organization to deliver excellent care and customer service for CoxHealth patients. Required Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Experience Medical billing experience and claims processing knowledge Familiarity with the insurance industry and collection process Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams Self‑starter Proficiency in using computers and computer systems Ability to multi‑task and pay attention to detail Licensure / Certification N/A Benefits Medical, Vision, Dental, Retirement with employer match and more. #J-18808-Ljbffr
