We are currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst - Data Integration (Data Connect) (FTE / Onsite Interview) to join our team in Charlotte , North Carolina (US-NC) , United States (US) .

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery and requirements sessions with application teams, Product Owners, business stakeholders, platform engineering, production support, and Data Connect product teams to understand data integration needs.

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for application onboarding, data feeds, data flows, access, scheduling, notifications, and platform capabilities.

• Create and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and supporting analysis.

• Translate business needs into clear and actionable backlog items with defined scope, dependencies, assumptions, business rules, and validation criteria.

• Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, backlog refinement sessions, prioritization discussions, solution alignment meetings, and stakeholder working sessions.

• Coordinate application onboarding to the Data Connect platform from initial intake through requirements, implementation, testing, release readiness, and operational handoff.

• Guide application teams in understanding platform standards, supported integration patterns, controls, environment requirements, and implementation expectations.

• Partner with architects, engineers, developers, QA, platform specialists, and production support teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional and technical questions.

• Manage feature, enhancement, and application onboarding intake in partnership with application leads and Data Connect stakeholders.

• Maintain JIRA backlog items to ensure requirements, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and supporting information are complete and ready for estimation, prioritization, development, testing, and release.

• Support release planning by evaluating prioritized backlog items, production issues, enterprise mandates, strategic initiatives, business commitments, funding, dependencies, and downstream impacts.

• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, testing status, change readiness, implementation activities, and follow-up actions.

• Coordinate system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect triage, business validation, and stakeholder sign-off activities.

• Partner with engineering and production support teams to investigate and triage data-flow failures, access issues, datasource problems, scheduling behavior, performance concerns, and production incidents.

• Collect supporting evidence, document business impact, track ownership, and communicate root-cause findings, remediation plans, status, and closure.

• Support operational readiness reviews, deployment planning, release instructions, implementation communications, and post-production validation.

• Prepare concise project and release status updates, decision materials, issue summaries, and stakeholder communications for delivery teams and leadership.

• Maintain onboarding guides, user documentation, FAQs, process documentation, and platform communication materials.

• Identify opportunities to improve requirements intake, application onboarding, documentation, platform adoption, delivery transparency, and stakeholder experience.

• Serve as the primary functional liaison between business stakeholders, consuming applications, Data Connect product teams, technology teams, and production support.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis, Systems Analysis, Product Analysis, Data Management, or Technology Delivery.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and business requirements.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environments with backlog management, refinement, prioritization, and SDLC practices.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar requirements and delivery-management tools.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience coordinating application onboarding, system integration, implementation, or enterprise technology delivery.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience coordinating SIT, UAT, defect management, business validation, release readiness, and production implementation activities.

• Working knowledge of enterprise data integration, data movement, data warehousing, relational databases, and data validation concepts .

• Strong understanding of data integration flows, interfaces, feeds, scheduling, dependencies, data quality, and operational controls .

• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders and translating complex technology and data concepts into business-friendly language.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into clear backlog items, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and actionable delivery tasks.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, identify dependencies, surface risks, facilitate decisions, and drive issues through resolution.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, documentation, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business users, Product Owners, and senior stakeholders.

• Ability to independently manage requirements and functional-analysis activities from intake through implementation and operational handoff .

• Ability to explain previous project experience in terms of business need, personal contribution, functional analysis, technical collaboration, and delivered outcomes .

Travel:

This position may require occasional travel based on business and project needs. The candidate should be available to participate in onsite meetings, stakeholder workshops, and team sessions when required.

Degree:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Data Management, or a related field , or equivalent work experience.

Nice to Have;

• Experience working with enterprise data integration, orchestration, or data management platforms .

• Experience supporting Treasury, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Data Governance, or Financial Services initiatives.

• 3+ years of SQL experience for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and reconciliation.

• Experience with ETL, Informatica, Oracle/Oracle Exadata, Hadoop, Spark, APIs, data lineage, data quality, monitoring, and orchestration .

• Exposure to Autosys, Airflow, CI/CD, Ansible, Jenkins, Python , or similar technology delivery tools.

• Experience supporting enterprise platform modernization, production controls, data retention, archival, and operational readiness initiatives.

• Experience working with data governance, regulatory controls, audit requirements, or other regulated technology environments .

• Experience supporting large-scale application onboarding and platform adoption initiatives.

• Knowledge of data integration patterns, APIs, batch processing, event-driven integration, and enterprise data flows .

• Experience with JIRA/Confluence administration, dashboards, reporting, and delivery governance

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $96,800.00 - $145,200.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
