About The Role The General Pulmonologist will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient pulmonary care, managing a broad spectrum of respiratory conditions while collaborating closely with primary care providers, hospitalists, specialists, and care teams throughout the health system. Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care Document high-quality, compliant clinical notes in the EMR and support clinic access, throughput, and patient experience Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve outcomes (e.g., lung cancer screening rates, timeliness to diagnosis and treatment) Participate in practice call coverage and practice meetings as required Required Qualifications Education & Licensure Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine Active Maryland physician medical license (or ability to obtain) Current DEA license and Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or approved provider) Unrestricted medical license with no history of suspension or revocation Eligible for participation with all payers Caring for you as you care for the CommUNITY Frederick Health offers a comprehensive and affordable benefits package.
