Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for Arizona or eligibility to obtain
• Demonstrated experience or training in resource room or inclusion settings
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and colleagues
• Flexibility in adapting instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction to students in resource room settings across assigned grade levels (K-4, 5-6, or 6-8)
• Develop and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications in compliance with federal and state requirements
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure inclusion and academic growth
• Track student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting regularly to families and school teams
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing training specific to special education best practices
