Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting, ensuring timely and effective treatment during high-pressure situations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report significant changes to the medical team.
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical observations accurately.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess recent experience in emergency room or acute care settings.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
• Display excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
