Technical Support Analyst

Our client is hiring a Technical Support Analyst. The Technical Support Analyst maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups. Performs basic operation, monitoring, installation, trouble shooting, relocations, or maintenance of communications equipment. Identifies and resolves basic communications problems. Prepares or assists in the preparation of service record documentation. Shows awareness of standards and regulatory requirements related to assigned tasks. Provides technical assistance and support for applications and hardware problems. Installs, maintains, moves, and assists in testing and upgrading new and existing hardware/software.
*Additional Skills & Qualifications*
The candidate must have three years of experience using imaging software to image PCs, preferably with KACE.
The candidate must have two years of experience using ticketing system
The candidate must have at least two years of extensive experience with Microsoft Office.
The candidate must hold a CompTIA A+ certification with one year of applicable experience.
The candidate must have two years of experience researching and troubleshooting a wide range of computing issues.
The candidate must have two years of experience working with Active Directory.
The candidate must be techsavvy, with one year of experience using office automation tools, databases, and remotecontrol utilities.

This is a Contract position based out of Norfolk, VA.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.50/hr.
