Senior Accounts Payable Analyst - 9 Month FTC

Key Responsibilities Support the Purchase to Pay team in day‑to‑day operations and projects Manage the end‑to‑end accounts payable process, including 3‑way matching and vendor payment management Act as the first point of contact for internal and external escalations and query resolution Supervise the AP shared mailbox and ensure timely responses Implement workflow improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy, aiming for first‑time match rates Oversee weekly payment runs ensuring invoices are approved and ready for payment Process and clear down DD/SO transactions Observe internal controls to ensure compliance with credit, procurement, and policy procedures Support the company’s travel and expense policy, including Concur reporting and audit requirements Manage AP month‑end close process and reporting requirements Review current procedures and recommend process improvements Reconcile vendor accounts and support cost management and reporting Maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Qualifications & Experience Experience in purchase to pay operations with end‑to‑end knowledge of the P2P process and AP best practices Strong appreciation of the purchase order system and its control functions Capability to lead process and control improvements and forge relationships across the business Excellent communication skills and confidence to provide constructive challenges Experience and knowledge of SAP Ability to analyse and interpret data effectively; advanced Excel skills Self‑motivated, self‑starting, able to multi‑task and manage own workload Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement Key Measures of Success Improve and maximise productivity while reducing inefficiencies Drive better results through efficient practice Improve AP processing times and query resolution Achieve key reporting deadlines and improve KPIs Provide prompt and accurate balance sheet reconciliation Benefits Company Bonus Scheme Matched pension contributions up to 8.5% 26 days annual leave + 2 Life Days (and bank holidays) Single Private Health Cover Complimentary Private Medical Income Protection Flexible Benefits – EV Scheme, Money Coach, Will Writing, Mortgage Advice, Dental and Eye Care Schemes Enhanced Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity, Adoption) Wellness Allowance £500 Employee Assistance Programme Discounted Health Assessments Volunteering Days Matched Funding Allwyn UK is a Disability Confident Leader.
