Program Specialist II (Student Success, Temp, Summer Bridge) – Location: Prairie View, Texas. Salary: commensurate with education and experience as per university compensation structure. Duration: July6, 2026–August7, 2026. This temporary position supports the Prairie View A&M University Panther Pride Summer Bridge program. Key Responsibilities Supervise Summer program counselors and Summer bridge participants. Supervise pre‑college camp counselors and campers; provide guidance during weekly workshops. Travel with students on all field trips and professional development visits to companies. Prepare reports on program activities and incidents as needed. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor. Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum two years of related experience. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills. Attention to detail and sound judgment. Special Requirements Applicants with equivalent experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree may be considered. One year of related experience equals one college year; applicants must have four years of related experience to meet the equivalency, and a total of six years overall.
