Sr Staff Accountant

As a Senior Staff Accountant , you will ensure that all assigned account reconciliations are prepared by staff in a timely manner and are consistent with corporate policies. Additionally, you will coordinate workflow, ensure deadlines are met, and assist managers with departmental oversight. You may drive the month end close process and prepare complex financial and regulatory reporting. Additionally, the incumbent may perform analytical or more technically difficult projects as assigned. Lastly, you may coordinate and control input to automated financial systems, databases, or spreadsheets. It is important to note that while in this role you are autonomous and will perform your responsibilities within a wide scope of acceptable practices. Primary responsibilities include Perform complex reconciliation, research, control (quality and/or financial), reporting functions, and is a source of information for junior level accountants. Ensure that all assigned account reconciliations are prepared by staff in a timely manner and are consistent with corporate policies.
