UAS Robotics Research Engineer - Autonomy & Flight

North Carolina State University’s AERIS Lab seeks a Robotics Research Engineer to design, build, and test unmanned systems and sensor packages for research projects. You will develop ROS/ROS2 software for autonomous navigation and perception, implement embedded real‑time sensing, and support indoor and outdoor flight testing at Lake Wheeler facilities.
