Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1890 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Unit Details: ICU beds are monitored by teleICU 24/7 in addition to admitting providers unless they sign off overnight. ICU ratios are 1:2-3 depending on acuity; stepdown ratios are 1:4. Combined ICU and stepdown unit with possible overflow patients on both units. Unit can take balloon pump patients, though travelers typically are not assigned those patients. Arctic Sun capability is available but used infrequently. A monitor tech/TeleTech and unit clerk are available 24/7. Patient care tech support is available based on census, and sitters are used as needed. Uses Spacelab bedside monitors for both ICU and stepdown.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed.
