We are looking for a Counsel to join our Rexel team inDallas Hybrid or Naperville, IL Hybrid! Summary The Staff Counsel is responsible for being a risk management and business advisor to Region, Specialty Business, and Functional leadership, including being a legal and risk management lead with transaction and commercial support for sales, procurement, operations, mergers and acquisitions, compliance and ethics investigations, litigation and dispute proceedings, labor and employment matters, and other legal matters. Works closely with and under the supervision of the General Counsel and Senior Counsel within the Legal department. What You'll Do Counselor and risk management business advisor to Region, Specialty Business and Functional leadership as part of Rexel USA Legal team Transaction and commercial support for field sales, procurement and operations, and the development of template commercial documents Compliance counseling as well as compliance and ethics investigations Assist with management and oversight of litigation and dispute proceedings Handle and/or assist with miscellaneous and various legal matters for the company, including privacy, labor & employment, corporate governance, and other matters Other duties as assigned Job Duties Disclaimer The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job. What You'll Need 5+ years of law firm, corporate, or non-profit in-house experience 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Required Graduate Degree - Required Juris Doctor (J.D.)
