Title & Summary Senior Analyst, Risk Management Overview The Third-Party Senior Risk Analyst is a member of the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Center of Excellence team within the Global Supply Chain organization. In this role, you will perform intake and baseline risk assessments of third parties according to the TPRM program framework to ensure compliance with Mastercard's standards and to help management understand, measure, and manage the risks inherent with third‑party relationships. You will assess and identify key third‑party risks and work with stakeholders to ensure risk assessments align with the company’s risk appetite. In This Role You Will Perform intake functions, including scoping engagements against program criteria, segmenting suppliers/third parties, and initiating risk assessments. Collaborate with business requestors, sourcing, legal, subject matter experts, and other TPRM team members to ensure a thorough understanding of the engagement and the associated risks. Conduct risk‑based assessments with a specific focus on data privacy, information security, and resilience, identifying control gaps and documenting findings. Coordinate and align risk assessment processes and insights with third‑party contractual negotiations. Partner and escalate key risks to internal stakeholders. Evaluate requests for new or modified third‑party engagements and prioritize or segment based on various risk factors. Ensure assessments are documented according to program requirements, meet established quality standards, and are completed in a timely manner. All About You Possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Have a good understanding and working knowledge of navigating, updating, and reporting in a GRC tool. Maintain a risk‑based mindset and effectively communicate findings to internal stakeholders. Have knowledge of risk‑management frameworks and processes, preferably in the financial services and payment processing industry. Understand complex data systems to identify risks, including knowledge of data‑driven technologies. Demonstrate a sense of urgency, results orientation, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to build and partner relationships. Show superior program management skills and the capability to standardize and automate processes through existing or new company tools. Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. Apply critical thinking to analyze information and develop effective solutions. Adapt quickly to change, work comfortably with ambiguity, and manage multiple tasks successfully. Commit to effectively serving internal customers. Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams. Corporate Security Responsibility Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices. Compensation & Benefits In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions. Base salary varies by location, role, and experience.
