Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, designed to accommodate both clients and staff. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions, ensuring clients receive uninterrupted care regardless of their physical location. Working from home, you will manage your schedule while maintaining a rigorous adherence to ethical standards and best practices in mental health treatment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, formulating accurate clinical diagnoses to inform effective treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, demonstrating a calm and supportive demeanor in high-stress situations.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment outcomes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in collaborative teamwork with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care and support.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and community resources available for additional support.
• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay updated on best practices in the field of mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each facing unique mental health challenges. You will engage with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders, all requiring a personalized approach. The goal is to empower clients to cope with their challenges effectively while fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the State of Georgia.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic competencies.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in the mental health field, working directly with clients in a therapeutic context.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients of all backgrounds.
• A strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Dedication to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards within the practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting focused on mental health therapy is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually based on experience, along with a generous sign-on bonus.
