Duties

• Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles.
• Perform vehicle recovery towing with precision, adhering to cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to prepare vehicles for towing or roadside assistance.
• Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks following all safety procedures.
• Assist with automotive diagnostics and minor repairs when necessary, leveraging mechanical knowledge to support vehicle issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and managing conflict professionally if needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines related to driving, cargo securement, and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers to ensure safe operations at all times.

Requirements

• Moderate ability in automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and basic vehicle troubleshooting.
• Mechanical knowledge of truck mechanics
• Strong driving skills with a focus on safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks and cargo securement protocols.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle challenging situations effectively.
• Familiarity with vehicle recovery towing techniques and a willingness to learn anything you don't know
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
