Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Penn State Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement. - Experience with chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, blood/blood products administration, and cardioversion/defibrillation required.

Special Requests: - No time off can be requested 9/1/2026 to 11/15/2026 due to hospital systemwide Epic implementation.

Unit Details: - Cardiac and vascular post-procedural patients, NSTEMI, congestive heart failure, dysrhythmia treatment, and 24-48 hrs post-op open heart patients, post cardiac cath, and stents. - Vents/sheaths/pacers/drips are not required.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: - Floats to Hampden Medical Center.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. End assignment restriction: 54 days

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 3 years
